GALLERY NIGHT VOL. 19 + APARAADITEHAS OPEN DOORS

There's something special about an August night...

On 28 August, we invite everyone to once again wander the creative paths of Aparaaditehas and explore the hidden corners of the Aparaaditehas Quarter as part of our beloved Gallery Night.

In addition to galleries and artists opening their doors, this year many of the creative businesses and studios based at Aparaaditehas will also welcome visitors inside, offering a rare opportunity to discover the people, spaces, and stories that make the quarter so unique.

Gallery Night Vol. 19 takes place as part of the Aparaaditehas Festival 2026.

The full programme will be announced in August.

During the tour, we’ll visit both familiar and lesser-known corners of Aparaaditehas where former in-house artist Mart Kalpin has left his mark. The tour will be led by Aparaaditehas programme manager Karmen Otu.  The tour is in Estonian / The tour starts from the centre of the Courtyard at 18:00.

The tour visits all of Aparaaditehas’s art galleries and offers a closer look at the current exhibitions. The tour is led by Gallery Night founder and Tartu Art Museum curator Stella Mõttus. The tour is in Estonian / The tour starts from the centre of the Courtyard at 19:00.

Ukrainian artist Viktoria Berezina, who works at Aparaaditehas, will take visitors on a tour introducing them to her favourite places and people in the building. The tour will be held in Ukrainian/ The tour starts from the centre of Tasku Park at 19:30

Forget the history books – this is your chance to discover the wall art of Aparaaditehas. From Soviet-era murals to contemporary local graffiti, we'll explore the stories behind artworks you’ve probably walked past countless times without noticing. Tour is led by Aparaaditehas ESC volunteer Marianna Bratani. The tour is in English / The tour starts from the centre of the courtyard at 20:00

A special journey into the secret spaces of Aparaaditehas that are not normally accessible. Pärle Punger, programme manager of Armastuse Saal, will share stories about the history and unique features of the former factory. The tour is in Estonian / The tour starts from the centre of the courtyard at 21:00.
