Diversity is natural part of Tartu and it needs to be celebrated: Diversity Festival will take place on 8th of June! Please join us to create an inspiring, joyful multicultural environment with people of all ages, cultures and walks of life learning and celebrating together.

The festival gives everyone an opportunity to contribute with their ideas, skills and experiences. Whether you like to draw, have passion for gardening or eager to share your life experience and discuss the topics you care about, we’ll be happy to have you there and make this festival together.

During the day we are going to have lots of different workshops, discussions, presentations, games and activities for different ages. The activities happen both outside in the yard and inside. See the schedule below.

International House Tartu pop-up cafe "Köömen" will provide food during the festival.

Dance: Mexican dance, Bangladesh dance, Georgian dance, Swing dance
Zerkala fireshow theatre: presentation "What are the Flow Arts?", Flow Arts practical workshop
Arts and crafts: Egyptian handicraft, drawing Khanty national ornaments, making bracelets and lamps out of tins, candle decoupage, henna
Food & drinks: traditional Turkish "tarhana soup", coffee prediction, tea from chaga: how and why to make tea from chaga?, how to use chopstics?
Culture and languages: learning French, Italian gesture, Georgia in a blink, mini Hungarian lesson, what don't we know about Taiwan?
Other: attractive photo tips, poetry workshop, percussion workshop
