Lauri Lest will perform at the TYPA balcony gallery on February 1! His atmospheric electronic music concert will be accompanied by microscope visuals filmed by artist Inessa Saarits. The concert is an opportunity to discover Anna-Liisa Sääse’s solo exhibition “Taming the Black” from a different perspective, and you can sit or lie down in the gallery to enjoy the music. The concert is free. Lauri Lest is a musician and sound and performance artist. As a musician, he creates and performs atmospheric electronic music and has released three studio albums. His latest album “Undercurrents” was released in April 2025. His work is characterized by melancholy, moodiness, and experimentation.

Inessa Saarits seeks common ground between art and biology in her practice. She is interested in natural and time-changing materials and explores the relationship between humans and nature in her works.
