EXHIBITION // Ceramic Sculpture Exhibition / Arabella Kevad, Ruuben Kevad "Family at the beach"

15.08 - 13.09.2025 at the studio store Karud ja Pojad there will be an exhibition of ceramic sculptures by Arabella and Ruuben Kevad "Family at the beach".

ARABELLA KEVAD is a 9-year-old young artist whose work combines childlike fantasy and impressive craftsmanship. Although Arabella's age may surprise you, she has been working with ceramics for four years, almost half of her life! During this time, clay has transformed from a playmate to a means of self-expression for her, with which she tells stories about her world.
Arabella's creations are genuine, warm and full of life. Her works remind us that even a small artist can create a great story.

At the exhibition "Family at the beach", Arabella presents ceramic figures that depict her family and all her cats. Each sculpture is created with attentive love, whether it is her brother's outbursts of anger or the cat's curious gaze.

RUUBEN KEVAD is a 13-year-old young artist whose works stand out for their sharp attention and sense of character. Ruuben has been working with ceramics for several years, recently focusing on depicting animals, not just on form, but on their character. His works exude humor, wit and sensitivity to form.

For the exhibition “Family at the beach”, Ruuben has brought a series of sculptural seagulls, each with their own face, attitude and mysterious past. Some of them have become robbers from the shoreline by stealing pies, some are simply curious summer residents whose eyes see everything. Ruuben's seagulls are not just birds, they are characters, a little naughty and very much alive and make the viewer smile or suspiciously guard their sandwich.
