APARAADITEHASE FESTIVAL 2023

Aparaaditehas Festival 2023 will take place on August 25-26.

In its eighth edition, Aparaaditehas Festival brings the best of what the cultural factory has to offer to the visitors. Over the course of nearly ten years, the entire quarter surrounding Aparaaditehas has been revitalized, and the festival area continues to expand. In addition to Aparaaditehas, our neighbors from the TYPA Center, Plantarium, and Ajuokse Avangaar offer exciting festival programs.

On Friday, the Jubilee Gallery Night vol 10 will take place, during which you can explore 20(!) exhibitions both in Aparaaditehas and in the surrounding galleries. Additionally, you can partake in a rich special program titled "Aparaaditehas Open Doors". Several new exhibitions will be opened, and factory tours will be conducted in Estonian, English, and Ukrainian. Numerous pop-up bars will be open, and besides Aparaaditehas' own restaurants, food trucks will also be stationed near the galleries. The legendary end-of-summer hangout of the alternative art group Ajuokse will take place at Ajuokse Avangaar's summer studio, and the night can be continued until morning at the Festival Nightclub located at Klubi Gutenberg.

On Saturday, Kastani Street will be closed to car traffic, and Müürilille Flea Market and Ajuokse Alternative Art Market traders and visitors will occupy the space. Additionally, one can find an Activities Street aimed at a younger audience on Kastani Street, along with food vendors and comfortable seating. Plant enthusiasts should head to Plantarium's garden of plants, where a plant fair will take place, offering the opportunity to revive your green charges at the plant emergency room. Exciting tours on foot and wheels will also take place in and around Aparaaditehas on Saturday, and the day will conclude with a concert by the band HUNT at Plantarium's secret stage.
