Wikimedia Estonia is a non-profit organization founded in 2010, whose goal is to support the collection, preservation and dissemination of educational, scientific, cultural and historical data available under a free license in Estonian and Võro. The organization supports Wikimedia projects (including Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, etc.) and is an officially recognized branch organization of the Wikimedia Foundation in Estonia. We promote Wikimedia projects, implement cooperation projects with memory and educational institutions, organize article writing competitions, photo collection campaigns, wiki expeditions, etc.
