Viktoria Berezina is an artist from Ukraine who has been living in Tartu since October 2022. She is a freelance artist, graphic designer, and exhibition curator and organizer. She is also the co-founder and organizer of the art festival "MYCELIUM".
Viktoria's artistic directions include collage, digital collage, graphic design and mixed media. The focus of her work is a unique collage world that reflects the connection between man and nature, loneliness, self-immersion and reflection on events.
In addition to her own work, Viktoria conducts workshops on Ukrainian Petrykivka painting. The national decorative painting style originates from the village of Petrykivka, where floral patterns were painted on the lime-plastered walls of peasant houses and household items. The style is characterized by floral patterns, defined brushstrokes, and a white background, although contemporary artists often use other colors.
