WORKSHOP // Scrap night vol.12: Paper Town
Big thanks to everyone who came to try out paper pulp painting last week, we were astonished by your works!
Our next event will take place on Tuesday 23rd of September, at the usual time 5:30 PM. The theme is… paper town!
This idea is slightly more multi-dimensional than the last: together we will learn how to make paper models of buildings that will later be arranged into a utopian Scrap City! Blocks, villas, churches, libraries, greenhouses, town halls… whatever you think of can be built from scratch. There will be pare-made stencils for some simple architectural structures, but with a little bit of mathematical skills and lots of creativity it will be possible to modify them in any way you wish. And the best part is that each building can also be decorated with collage pieces, mosaics, etc. So if you want to test your architect, urban planner and street artist’s skills, definitely come join us on Tuesday!
The events are our voluntary project, carried out by TYPA’s ESC volunteer Asia and education manager Karoliina. The aim of this is to reduce the leftover scrap waste we have at TYPA.
Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood.
No registration is required.
The first rule of Scrap Club is to have fun and be yourself
