SWITCHOVER 2026 // TALK: Good Taste? Bad Taste?

What seems as good taste to one might come across as irrelevant, trivial or incomprehensible for the other. Taste is a construction that’s never neutral. In the talk we discuss how to reach consensus when making a program or being in a jury. How to stand up for also the things that don’t align with personal taste. How do we collectively understand “good taste” and how it influences the canon or lists of awarded artists= How to challenge taste, develop it and find interesting nuances?
