MOVIE NIGHT // Letters and Type: "Farewell, Etaoin Shrdlu" & "Type Speaks!"

Do you like watching movies? What about history? Have you ever thought how newspapers were printed in last century? How were layouts and text created before digital text setting programmes took over the world?

On October 31st at 16.00 we invite you to TYPA to watch two documentaries that give a short overview of print history.

Why are we showing them? As "Constellations in Metal" has been up for quite some time now, we want to go deeper into the topics of it. And nothing can do that better than a good doc film!
We will showcase "Fairwell, Etaoin Shrdlu" (1978) and "Type Speaks! (1948).

The movie night is free and we will of course answer all your questions! The lenghts of the movies are 28:46 and 25:39.
