LITERATURE // Baltic Anarchist bookfair 2026

The third annual anarchist bookfair is happening in Tartu, Estonia, from the 29th until the 31st of May!

This year, the fair will take place at Ajuokse Avangard.

Bookfair Opening Hours (which are subject to change):

• Friday: 17:00-23:00
• Saturday: 11:00-23:00
• Sunday: 11:00-23:00

During the fair, you will be able to browse the books and wares of many amazing local and international radical publishers, booksellers, and artists; listen to lectures; join discussions; participate in workshops; enjoy live music; and chat with many wonderful people.

With this bookfair, we aim to address the vacuum of leftist discourse in the Baltic states and create a space for sharing knowledge, experiences, and joy. It’s up to us to act now, build a mutual aid platform, and plant the seeds of resistance!

We invite all of you to join us! Whether you consider yourself a hardcore anarchist or the words leftism, anarchism, or politics in general make you feel uneasy, we promise—it won’t hurt, and you will definitely find something familiar as well as something completely new.
