FESTIVAL // Tartu Illustration Festival TIF 2026

The third edition of Tartu Illustration Festival will take place on 25-26 September 2026, in Aparaaditehas, Tartu, Estonia.

The festival aims to introduce the wonderful world of illustrations, visual arts and design to all audiences far and wide. During the two-day programme, the festival will host workshops, masterclasses, presentations, panel discussion, exhibitions and an illustrators market.

This year’s festival theme is Playful Patterns. We invite everyone to explore how patterns appear in illustration through textures, repetition and rhythm in one's work. The programme encourages experimentation and stepping outside familiar ways of working — whether through printmaking, combining unexpected materials or trying out new approaches and techniques.
