EXHIBITION OPENING // "Homeplace" by Leia Sashami & Zine launch

 On the 5th of August at 18.00 we invite you to the opening of Sashami’s exhibition “Kodukant” (“Homeplace”) and the presentation of the zine of the same name at TYPA Paper Hall.

 The zine explores the stories and layers of the Kastani street heritage district through illustrations, archival materials, and place-based research. The publication includes stories about a slaughterhouse manager’s villa, a Bolshevik meeting place, a hidden courtyard house, a lost street, and many other locations that have shaped the history of Kastani street.

 During the opening, visitors will be able to pick up a free copy of the zine.

 The TYPA Paper Hall gallery is open Wednesday–Sunday, 12.00–18.00, and is located at Kastani 48f, Tartu. The exhibition will remain open until 5 October.
