“I remember the Moon from my childhood. Moonlight has always invited me to pause, to quietly observe, and to make peace with my own changes. The phases of the Moon remind me of the duality in life’s natural rhythm: expansion and contraction, growth and decline, appearing and disappearing, darkness and light. In these works, I share my wordless dialogue with the night, from which arise a sense of peace and trust in the natural movement of life.”

Moonlight Oasis creates a space where visitors can slow down, observe consciously, and move at their own pace. Hanna’s paintings and ceramics present fragments of nocturnal pastoral landscapes that intertwine light, nature, and inner balance. The moonlight running through the works symbolizes inner renewal and calm presence, establishing an intimate, meditative connection between the viewer and the artworks.
In addition to the exhibition programme, Hanna will organise several events throughout the year, including artist talks, masterclasses, and guided tours.

 Hanna Davidova (b.1989, Kyiv, Ukraine) is an artist, art therapist, and special education teacher. She has lived in Tartu since 2022. In her work, Hanna explores inner human transformation and the relationship between people and nature. As a therapist and special educator, she is particularly interested in the self-expression of autistic people through creativity. Hanna works with canvas painting, murals, woodcuts, and ceramics. For Hanna, art is a therapeutic process.
She uses it as a platform for dialogue about emotional resilience, adaptation, and mutual understanding. Among her major projects is the Estonian–Ukrainian children’s book Kukupai ja kukurudza (2024), for which she created both the text and the illustrations. Living and working in Tartu, she takes an active part in local cultural life through exhibitions and public events.
