EXHIBITION // "Homeplace" by Leia Sashami

TYPA Paper Hall presents Sashami’s exhibition “Kodukant” (“Homeplace”) and its accompanying zine from August 6th to October 5th.

The zine explores the stories and layers of the Kastani street heritage district through illustrations, archival materials, and place-based research. The publication includes stories about a slaughterhouse manager’s villa, a Bolshevik meeting place, a hidden courtyard house, a lost street, and many other locations that have shaped the history of Kastani street.

The TYPA Paper Hall gallery is open Wednesday–Sunday, 12.00–18.00, and is located at Kastani 48f, Tartu. The exhibition will remain open until 5 October.
