CONCERT // Live: Edgars Rubenis (LV), support: Paul Neitsov

Edgars Rubenis is coming to Tartu! He is a Latvian guitarist and composer who weaves blues and ragtime traditions with his own contemporary style. His three-album project Pains and Boogies was released under the Dutch record label Discrepant (Disque-ce-que) and includes the albums Slow Lightning (2022), Sea Unbound (2023), and Shelterbelt (2025).

Since devoting himself to the acoustic guitar in 2020, Rubenis has performed alongside Welsh guitarist Gwenifer Raymond, Finnish guitarist Kadonnut Manner, and toured extensively across the UK, France, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Baltic States. His music has also been featured on London's Resonance FM.

Paul Neitsov is an Estonian guitarist playing primarily acoustic guitar, who has captivated audiences both in Estonia and abroad with his soulful and masterful playing. He has collaborated with most of Estonia's renowned musicians, as well as sharing the stage with guitar superstar Tommy Emmanuel and fingerstyle icon Calum Graham from Canada. Paul’s repertoire features original compositions alongside incredible arrangements of rock, jazz, and pop classics.
